Experience and areas of specialisation
A high academic achiever, Roisin earned numerous prizes during her study and is a member of the Golden Key Honour Society, an invitation-only International Academic Organisation, that officially recognises high academic achievement.
Joining Georgiadis in 2004 to continue practicing Family Law, Roisin has considerable experience in children’s issues and parenting orders as well as property settlements in relation to married and de-facto couples, including complex matters involving interests in companies, businesses and trusts. She also drafts and reviews prenuptial agreements, financial agreements, domestic partnership agreements and orders, including orders involving a splitting of superannuation benefits.
Her Estate, Probate and Testamentary Law experience is also valuable to her clients in conducting litigation in the Supreme Court, including litigation arising from contesting of an Estate and defending applications by aggrieved beneficiaries.
Her expertise in this field sees her advising her clients in the drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Powers of Guardianship and applications for a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.

Roisin provides Probate and Estate planning advice and administers estates. She drafts and advises in respect to discretionary and other Testamentary Trusts and Deeds of Family Arrangement.
Roisin’s Financial Services Law work involves her advising clients on the impacts of financial services reform legislation on their business and whether an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) is required. She prepares AFSL applications or variations to existing AFSLs. Roisin routinely sets up public and proprietary companies, prepares company constitutions and related documentation to register managed investment schemes. Roisin is proficient in drafting Product Disclosure Statements, Prospectuses and conducting Legal Compliance Reviews.
